Probuild Creations was found in 2013 by Porter Baker and Daniel Bezden. At that time, Porter had well over 800 residential remodeling projects completed and provided much of the technical guidance - in particular, a very methodical and accurate system for bidding projects efficiently. The company established a branding identity, Delightful Kitchen Remodeling, and in 2020 Porter became the full owner of that entity, while the Bezden family became the owners of Probuild Creations.
Exceptional customer care and business efficiency has always been his passion. He obtained a Diploma in Hotel Management from the Johannesburg Hotel School, after he completed two years military service in South Africa - working as a photographer in an infantry unit. With excellent training in art and design during his high school years, Daniel created a highly successful calendar publishing business in the late 80's with his wife, Laura. That company was sold to an employee is is still flourishing today. In 2001 the Bezdens moved from Cape Town to Austin, where they have been successful since.
Daniel is still an active photographer and flies as a private pilot.
Laura grew up in East Texas where her parents (a professor and a teacher) also owned two restaurants in Nacogdoches. Like Daniel, she grew up in a family business. Although she studied music and played the oboe, she found her true passion in the field of finance. Today she wears the Chief Financial Officer hat at Probuild Creations - playing a vital role in keeping the company secure and viable. She has a keen sense for production efficiency and loves looking into the future, helping to make sure the Probuild Creations projects roll along as envisioned.
Laura is a mother of three boys - Yeager, Zach & Kyle. She loves to travel - especially to South Africa.
He has taken the art of meeting with customers and bidding jobs - to a whole new level of efficiency.
He was trained to bid jobs by one of the original founders, Porter Baker. He then developed a method to provide a free, onsite bid - during his first meeting with new customers. Home owners love that! Many years of passionately playing Sim City - a video game where you build a city (in case you didn't know), served him well in how quickly he learned to use modern 3D design software - to help customers with conceptual design plans today. Yeager is typically the first person you will meet when you schedule a free bidding appointment. You'll be delighted with his knowledge, passion and communication.
He has a blue belt in Jujutsu and can't wait to get to the gym every day.
Karah grew in in Houston in a family of six children. She, and her identical twin sister, were home schooled - all while working in her dad's commercial construction business. She was fluent in the use of spreadsheets and Quickbooks from age thirteen! Her dad exposed her to both the technical and administrative side of the business. Today, at Probuild Creations, she wears the office manager hat, does invoicing and collections, performs weekly payroll and plays a key role in production related logistical functions such as material orders and scheduling updates in the company's online scheduling software.
Karah and Yeager are parents to one boy (thus far), Killian, who brings much joy to the whole Bezden family.
